Our Pop is not well. In the last weeks his cancer has spread and did not respond to treatment. At this time he is home under the care of his family and Hospice. Although we know that his days with us are numbered he will always be with us. He is an unbelievable, father, father-in- law, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle and friend. I am one lucky girl to have married into such an amazing family. I love my father-in-law very much. He treated me like his family from the moment Mac and I started dating. That is something I will always remember. He never meets and stranger and anyone who has met him tells me how wonderful he is and how he impacted their life in such a positive way. We have spent the last week by his side, reminding him how much we love him, how amazing he is and how proud we are at his amazing strength and faith. We created a website for our family and friends to keep up with what is going on. Please feel free to visit it. Below is a link to the website and some of pictures of Pop over the last few years. Having to watch my husband and his family go through this is absolutely heartbreaking. However, Mr. Harper is loved by everyone he has ever met and has left and incredible mark on this world and I find great comfort in that. He will live on in his amazing family. He is so proud of his sons and should be. They are following directly n his footsteps.
