I have the best husband!
Mommy is feeling very under the weather and I mentioned some homemade chicken noodle soup would be wonderful. I was well aware that request was just a thought I said out loud and that if I wanted some soup I would have to make it myself. My sweet husband call every restaurant in Chapin to see if they had chicken noodle soup. Although he was unsuccessful, it was a very sweet jester after the LONG day I had. I know it is something very minor, but it was so sweet and why I love my husband so much! I love you Mac!

Fishing with Daddy
I always prayed for healthy babies, but before I found out the sex I had dreams and thoughts about what it would be like to have a boy or a girl. Although we don't know if our family is complete, (so maybe there is a little hope for a girl) I love being a mom of boys. It does however, make me sadder than words can describe to know that if I don't have a girl that I won't have the wonderful relationship that I have with my mom and share the special moments that only mothers and daughters can. Moments like this weekend make is so special to have boys and it is just the way I dreamed it would be. The boys went fishing with their daddy for the first time and they caught a fish. Griff of course was too little to actually fish, but loved being outside with they boys. Ty had a blast and finally got to use the first fishing rod he ever got from his Uncle Joe. Mac will be the first to tell you that they are Mama's boys and they are, but only a father and his son(s) can share moments like this!
PS Ty like fishing with Leroy too.

Ty Boy is a lot better. We are all congested and sleep deprived, but I promise some pictures hopefully tonight. We are hosting a clothing party for a friend today, so we have to get busy laying out clothes!!

My Poor Baby
My Baby Ty Boy is sick. We went to the beach on Wednesday night and Thursday by lunch he was running a high fever. (Needless to say we came home.) We have been to the doctor every day since Thursday. He has had blood work, strep test, catheter to get a urine sample and three shots. It has been awful. He is doing better and hopefully we don't have to go back to the doctor tomorrow. I have to call our pediatrician and give him a report and we will go from there. His blood cell count indicated an infection and they are trying to pin point it, since his ears look ok and strep was negative. He is terribly congested. They said it could be viral, but they want to rule out urinary tract and or blood infection. Hopefully by tomorrow or Tuesday we should have test results back. In the mean time we are all very sleep deprived and Mac and I both have a sore throat. I promise once we are all better and I can think straight I will have lots of pictures to post. Pray that Ty does not have to be poked or prodded anymore and that Griff stays healthy! Ty is acting much better and I think if his congestion was gone, he'd be a new boy.

Thursday's Thirteen Thoughts
1. Today is September 11th and I just want to pay tribute to those who lost their lives that day and their families. It is hard to believe 7 years have past since our nation was attacked. I will never forget that day, where I was, the feeling that our safety and security had been taken away, longing to be with my family and to know they were safe, and the fact that America would never be the same.
2. Griff is 3 months old today!!! He is such a joy and we love him so much.
3. Update on Ty's school: He did great the first day. Day two lots and lots of tears. Day Three fewer tears than day two and he said he had fun.
4. I knew having children took your brain, but I never realized how much until today. 5-9 are why!
5. Washed the remote. It was wrapped in the sheets. Mac couldn't believe it. Little does he know it is not the first time. However in previous washes my spin cycle worked and dried the remote out, so it worked fine, no harm done. However the spin cycle on our washer is on the fritz, so remote out of commission! Opps
6. Dusted the china cabinet with Scrubbing Bubbles instead of Pledge. Opps again.
7. Ran over Mac's blue tooth headset (not sure why it was in garage?) Triple Opps.
8. Gave Ty a Popsicle and didn't open it for him. Couldn't figure out why he kept fussing. Maybe because he couldn't eat it!!
9. Went out to eat, forgot burp cloth (Griff spits up all over himself). Also forgot Ty's paci (He only had 30 minute nap today) DISASTER!
10. I learned last night not to read all the links on Emily's blog. Some are funny, but several are so sad! They about loosing a spouse or child and while the bloggers are extremely strong people and I could learn a lot from them, I could not get through them with sobbing my eyes out. Don't know why I put myself through it.
11. Big Kudos to all you working mom's out there. This week Tuesday-Thursday I had to be out the door with both boys by 8:40ish. (I know it is not even that early!) Two days were to get Ty to school and one day was to drop Ty off with his Pop and Aunt Pam so I could go to the dentist. Seriously it was all I could do to get out the door. Don't know how you do it everyday: get your self ready, your kids ready and get them to school and yourself to work. You are awesome.
12. Although my days are crazy with 2 boys/babies under 19 months and I don't always get a shower or a chance to brush my teeth or go to the bathroom, I just love being a mom. Children are the most precious gift from God and I wouldn't trade my chaotic days for anything in the world. I think today being September 11 reminded me how blessed I am to have Ty and Griff. Words can not describe my love for them and how lucky I am to be able to spend each day with them. I am forever grateful to Mac for the sacrifices he makes for our family so I can stay home with them. I love when I get to hold them both in the rocking chair and they lay their hands on my chest. I love that I get to kiss 3 sets of Harper lips (Mac, Ty and Griff that is). I could go on and on. Mac, Ty and Griff I love you so much!!
13. I am so excited for Jeff, Micah and Tucker. Any minute now, they are going to welcome Mattox James into this world. Mattox we can't wait to meet you. Micah and Jeff you are in our thoughts and prayers. Tucker you are going to be a great big brother!!!

Ty's First Day of Mother's Morning Out
Ty had his first day of MMO today. I just dropped him off. He was a little hesitant at first, but then a ball struck his eye and his was off. Gave me a kiss bye bye and that was it. Griff is asleep and the dogs are outside. I don't think my house has ever been this quiet?!?! It is spooky. I have plenty to do, but don't know where to start. If Griff wakes up we are going to have some time together to play. He is trying really hard to roll over, so we'll practice in the floor while big bro is at school. I let you know how Ty did after I pick him up.
PS My sweet husband got me a new camera! He came home with it yesterday. It takes so much better pictures than our old one. I didn't have to miss Griff turning 12 weeks and Ty's first day. I you Mac!!!!

Griff is 12 Weeks Old
I can not believe 12 weeks have come and gone. Griff is smiling, holding his head up really well and today tried to roll to one side. He is such a sweet, happy and easy going baby. Every time you look at him he just smiles at you, his eyes light up and he flashes that precious dimple. We are blessed to have him and so thankful he is a healthy, happy baby boy.
Griffers we love you so much and God knew exactly what our family needed when he gave you to your dad, Ty and I!!

My Camera
My camera is somewhere along Chapin's Labor Day Parade Route, along with my memory card. To say that I am sad/stressed is an understatement!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mamee, Poop, and Mankme came for the weekend and we had lots of fun. I did have some great pictures of our boat trip, cook out, Labor Day Parade and Ty's new kitchen we got him. As Ty says "Ty Cook". Tomorrow Griff is 12 weeks old and Thursday Ty has his first day of Mother's Morning Out. I am going to use our old camera and hope that the pictures are good. Every time I turn around I feel like I missing out on the perfect Kodak Moment!! Oh well, I get to get a new camera!
